Remote Middle Data Engineer

Description:

• HomeBuddy is seeking a Middle Data Engineer to join their team and contribute to building and maintaining data infrastructure for collecting, storing, and retrieving data.
• The role involves creating new data flows, developing ETL pipelines, data warehousing, and data modeling to support business needs.
• Responsibilities include ensuring data quality monitoring, reliability, and lineage, collaborating with the Data & Analytics Team, and staying updated on the latest data engineering technologies.
• The position offers full-time employment with home working flexibility.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in data engineering.
• Experience with data quality monitoring, reliability, and lineage is preferred.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Snowflake, and DBT is required.
• Familiarity with advanced data infrastructure, tools, and concepts is necessary.
• Nice-to-have skills include experience with EL tools, Orchestration, Data Quality Monitoring, Version Control Systems, Docker, and AWS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with business acumen and good communication skills, are essential.
• Business fluency in English is a must, and experience in SaaS or Marketplace companies is a bonus.
