Remote Middle Java Developer

Description:

• The position is for a Middle Java Developer at KYIVSTAR, focusing on new revenue streams.

• The developer will be responsible for selecting and implementing necessary tools, technologies, and techniques.
• The job involves designing the architecture of applications and developing applications for data processing.
• The developer will follow best practices and design principles while performing code reviews and ensuring code quality.
• Troubleshooting and performance optimization are also key responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 2+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) design skills and basic functional programming (FP) knowledge are required.
• Proficiency in Java (version 8 or higher) is essential, including knowledge of core concepts such as collections and concurrency.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring framework, including Boot, MVC, and Data/JPA, is necessary; experience with Cloud is a plus.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in developing RESTful services is required.
• Candidates must have a thorough understanding of Kafka stream processing.
• A solid understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as PostgreSQL and MySQL is required.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (key-value, document, columnar) such as Aerospike, Redis, MongoDB, and Cassandra is necessary.
• Understanding of stream data and big data processing is required.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes concepts is essential.
• Candidates should have an understanding of Unix-like systems.
• Experience with continuous integration principles and tools is required.
• Front-end skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap are a plus.
