Remote Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Provectus is seeking a Middle/Senior DevOps/CloudOps Engineer to work on various projects in Azure or AWS.
• The role involves designing, implementing, and managing Cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• The engineer will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Responsibilities include implementing and managing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• The engineer will collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new services and features.
• Automating repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention is a key responsibility.
• The role requires ensuring security best practices are followed for all cloud deployments.
• Regular infrastructure and security audits will be performed to identify and mitigate risks.
• Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner is essential.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineer role.
• Strong expertise in Azure or AWS services is required.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform is necessary.
• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions is essential.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch is required.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages are needed.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is important.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues are required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential.
