Description:

  • Sigma Software is seeking an experienced Middle/Senior Go Developer to join their engineering team.
  • The role involves working with a leading advertising buying platform on a global scale.
  • Developers will engage with large-scale clusters and high-performance service frameworks.
  • The project focuses on building comprehensive ad platforms for publishers, advertisers, and media buyers.
  • Responsibilities include developing, testing, and optimizing backend systems and APIs using Golang.
  • The developer will design, implement, and maintain scalable software solutions emphasizing performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams is required to customize existing applications and develop new features.
  • The role includes building and refining processes for software updates, including CI/CD pipelines and automation for application deployment.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing systems while ensuring high code quality and best practices is essential.
  • The developer will utilize cloud infrastructure, such as AWS services, to deploy, manage, and scale applications.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation is necessary for clarity among team members.
  • Participation in code reviews is expected to promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least 4+ years of hands-on experience in Software Development.
  • Proficiency in Golang and strong software engineering fundamentals are required.
  • A strong understanding of AWS services, including S3 and EKS, is necessary.
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in SQL and have proven experience with major database platforms.
  • Experience with cloud-based data services and solutions, such as Snowflake and Hive, is required.
  • Familiarity with data engineering concepts like data storage, ETL, and information retrieval is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on results and deadlines, are required.
  • A passion for learning and practicing new techniques is important.
