Description:
Honeycomb is seeking a Midlevel Site Reliability Engineer to join their team.
The SRE team at Honeycomb is responsible for owning reliability practices across the organization.
The engineer will embed with engineering teams to help them understand how their software operates in production.
Responsibilities include facilitating organizational learning with incidents, enhancing developer experience, and influencing on-call and incident response practices.
The role involves measuring and improving whole-product reliability and optional opportunities for blogging, customer interactions, and speaking at conferences.
Requirements:
Experience managing infrastructure, particularly in AWS using Terraform.
Enjoyment of the social aspects of the job, collaborating with team members, and strong project management skills.
Care for people and a willingness to support teams at different stages of development.
Curiosity, interest in experimentation, and a focus on learning from incidents.
Focus on the user and keeping business outcomes in mind.
