Remote Mid/Sen+ Data Engineer

Description:

• The company is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work on an enterprise-level client project.
• The role involves analyzing and organizing raw data, building data systems and pipelines, and evaluating business needs and objectives.
• Responsibilities also include combining data from different sources, enhancing data quality and reliability, and developing analytical tools and programs.
• The Senior Data Engineer will collaborate with data scientists/planners and architects on various projects and work on assembling large, complex data sets.
• They will also be responsible for identifying and implementing internal process improvements, building ETL jobs, and creating analytical tools for actionable insights.
• Technologies used include AWS, Airflow, SQL, Python, and Go.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Technical expertise in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in Go considered a bonus.
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design and working with Hive/DataBricks or other data warehouses.
• Experience in building dashboards on Tableau/Grafana/Databricks, and building data pipelines on Airflow.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
