Description:

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of web applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server-side programming, cloud computing, and database management.
This is a fully remote position where you will be working directly with one of our partners and contributing to a growing, innovative team.
Responsibilities include architecting, programming, testing, and deploying new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
You will design, secure, ensure the integrity, and enhance the performance of our PostgreSQL database and AWS infrastructure.
You will identify and support opportunities for leveraging data science and machine learning to optimize customer outcomes.
Enhancing, maintaining, and documenting our RESTful API as used internally and by our integration partners is also part of your role.
You will build upon and scale-up our CI/CD practices and technologies.
Collaboration with front-end developers and other team members will be conducted remotely.

Requirements:

Mid/Senior level experience (3–8 years) as a Back-End Developer is required.
Proficiency in one or more server-side programming languages, specifically Node.js, is necessary.
Experience with database management systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB is essential.
A working knowledge of AWS or other cloud computing services is required.
Solid experience with SaaS application development, ideally in Fintech, would be a plus.
Knowledge of API design and development is necessary.
Familiarity with modern software development methodologies and cycles is required.
Experience with software engineering best practices is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals are required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a remote work environment are necessary.
Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is required.
You must have the ability to work remotely from anywhere in Latin America, with a preference for candidates from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, or Uruguay.
