Remote Mid/Sr Shopify & Wordpress Developer

Description:

• We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid/Senior Shopify & WordPress Developer to join our team on a part-time basis.
• The role involves ongoing maintenance, customization, and optimization of Shopify stores, as well as developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
• You will work closely with our team to ensure our clients' websites are functional, secure, and aligned with their business goals.
• Responsibilities include managing day-to-day maintenance of Shopify stores, customizing Shopify themes, and implementing Shopify apps.
• You will design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they are secure, fast, and user-friendly.
• General development tasks include collaborating with designers and marketers, debugging website issues, testing for compatibility, and staying updated on trends in Shopify and WordPress development.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align website functionality with business goals and document processes while providing technical support as needed.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience with Shopify development, including Liquid coding, theme customization, and app integration is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience with WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development is required.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery is necessary.
• Familiarity with PHP for WordPress and Liquid for Shopify is required.
• An understanding of SEO best practices and performance optimization for web development is essential.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git, is required.
• Knowledge of third-party APIs and integrations is necessary.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills are essential.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills are required.
• The ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients is necessary.
• Experience with e-commerce integrations, such as payment gateways and inventory management systems, is a plus.
• Familiarity with page-building tools, such as Elementor or WPBakery, is a plus.
• Knowledge of Shopify Plus features and capabilities is a plus.
