Remote Military Aircraft Senior Data Analyst

Description:

• Redhorse Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Military Aircraft Senior Data Analyst to transform Air Force aircraft maintenance through Condition-Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) initiatives.
• The role involves leveraging cutting-edge AI/ML technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of aircraft sustainment, significantly contributing to national security.
• Key responsibilities include leading program initiatives from inception to deployment, ensuring alignment with CBM+ business and mission objectives.
• The analyst will develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and data visualizations using Qlik Sense to support aircraft maintenance analytics and decision-making.
• The position requires enhancing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support ongoing CBM+ efforts.
• The analyst will provide expert insights on maintenance practices to support AI/ML development and participate in engagement meetings, advising stakeholders on military aircraft data and trends.
• Mentoring junior team members and supporting strategic objectives related to predictive maintenance and data analytics is also a key responsibility.
• The role includes enhancing quality control (QC) for maintenance data product models.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience, including 2+ years in data analysis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• In-depth knowledge of Air Force maintenance practices and aircraft industry trends is essential.
• The candidate must have a proven ability to deliver data-driven solutions to complex maintenance challenges.
• Strong leadership skills with experience guiding and mentoring junior analysts are necessary.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Excel) and statistical modeling (Weibull, Gamma distributions) is required.
• The ability to interpret Aircraft Technical Orders and apply general aircraft maintenance knowledge is essential.
• Strong communication skills capable of presenting technical findings to diverse audiences are required.
• Experience with Maintenance Information Systems and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
• The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple projects.
