Description:

Eight Sleep is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their machine learning team.
The role involves monitoring production machine learning systems to ensure performance and reliability.
Responsibilities include developing big data ETL pipelines for model development and evaluation.
The Data Engineer will manage and curate datasets for training machine learning models using 10 PB of sensor data collected from Eight Sleep’s clinical studies.
The position is remote and full-time, based in the US.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience working in data engineering.
Proficiency in Python is required, including experience with coroutines, NumPy/SciPy, and Pandas.
Experience with AWS services relevant to machine learning and data engineering is necessary, including EC2, SageMaker, S3, Kinesis, and SQL.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
