Remote ML Data Engineer (Contract)

Description:

• The ML Data Engineer will be responsible for monitoring production ML systems to ensure performance and reliability.
• They will develop big data ETL pipelines for model development and evaluation.
• The role involves managing and curating datasets for training machine learning models using the 10 PB of sensor data collected by Eight Sleep.
• The engineer will also build tools to monitor incoming sensor data from Eight Sleep’s clinical studies.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience working in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, including experience with coroutines, NumPy/SciPy, and Pandas.
• Experience with AWS services relevant to machine learning and data engineering such as EC2, SageMaker, S3, and Kinesis, as well as SQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
