Description:
The position is for an ML & Data Engineer for Bosch Digital Twin Industries (BDTI) focused on edge & hybrid cloud setups.
The role involves developing and implementing digital twin solutions, utilizing machine learning and data engineering pipelines.
Responsibilities include designing container-based solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for edge-based machine learning use cases.
The engineer will streamline data flow pipelines, including data ingestion, storage, deploying ML models, and interfacing with cloud services.
The role requires the development of cloud-agnostic software solutions that can be deployed on various hardware or cloud environments with minimal modifications.
The engineer will also develop and implement a tailored MLOps concept for digital twin solutions.
Requirements:
A Master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning algorithms and frameworks, focusing on scalable infrastructure and automation for deploying and managing ML models in production environments is necessary.
Proficiency in Python and relevant ML & data engineering tools/frameworks such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, MongoDB, and time-series databases is essential.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, as well as cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, is preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on delivering business value through efficient and reliable ML operations are necessary.
Business fluency in English is required, and knowledge of other languages is welcome.
