Remote ML & Data Engineer for Edge & Hybrid Cloud for Digital Twin (f/m/div.)

Description:

• The position is for an ML & Data Engineer for Bosch Digital Twin Industries (BDTI) focused on edge & hybrid cloud setups.
• The role involves developing and implementing digital twin solutions, utilizing machine learning and data engineering pipelines.
• Responsibilities include designing container-based solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for edge-based machine learning use cases.
• The engineer will streamline data flow pipelines, including data ingestion, storage, deploying ML models, and interfacing with cloud services.
• The role requires the development of cloud-agnostic software solutions that can be deployed on various hardware or cloud environments with minimal modifications.
• The engineer will also develop and implement a tailored MLOps concept for digital twin solutions.

Requirements:

• A Master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning algorithms and frameworks, focusing on scalable infrastructure and automation for deploying and managing ML models in production environments is necessary.
• Proficiency in Python and relevant ML & data engineering tools/frameworks such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, MongoDB, and time-series databases is essential.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, as well as cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on delivering business value through efficient and reliable ML operations are necessary.
• Business fluency in English is required, and knowledge of other languages is welcome.
