Description:
We are seeking a Machine Learning (ML) Engineer to support our Fortune 100 client, a global provider of healthcare and retail pharmacy services, in building industry-leading analytics, data, and technology platforms to help reimagine health care.
This position will serve a critical role within a cross-functional team to develop and optimize ML models, refactor codebases, and contribute to overall software architecture.
Your efforts will play a pivotal role in driving advancements in pharmaceutical research, pricing strategy, medication optimization, and clinical data analysis.
The position is fully remote within the U.S., with a preference for Eastern or Central Time.
The contract duration is through the end of 2024, with a likely extension and potential for conversion to hire.

Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in machine learning, software engineering, or a related role is necessary.
Proficiency in Python and SQL is essential.
Experience with Big Data Technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark, is required.
Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control, code optimization, and testing, is necessary.
Hands-on experience in implementing, optimizing, and maintaining ML models in production environments is required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems, are essential.
Preferred qualifications include experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry and familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Benefits:
The starting pay range for this role is $70.00 - $75.00 per hour, with actual compensation dependent on factors such as relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location.
