Remote ML Ops Engineer

Description:

• Solvd Inc. is seeking a seasoned ML Ops Engineer to join their dynamic team.
• The role involves managing machine learning infrastructure and deploying models to production environments.
• Responsibilities include architecting, managing, and maintaining scalable ML infrastructure using AWS services like EC2, SageMaker, S3, and CloudFormation templates.
• The position also entails automating model deployment to production, ensuring continuous availability and performance.
• The ML Ops Engineer will work with tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Databricks, and Unity Catalog for data governance, security, and compliance.
• Collaboration with data teams to streamline model development and production workflows is a key aspect of the role.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ML models using AWS and Databricks to ensure consistent testing, monitoring, and retraining when necessary.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in AWS services, including SageMaker, CloudFormation, EC2, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Experience in creating, managing, and automating AWS resources using CloudFormation templates.
• Proficiency in the Databricks platform and Unity Catalog for managing large-scale data pipelines and ensuring model performance at scale.
• Proven track record in deploying machine learning models to production environments using SageMaker and Databricks.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and programming skills in Python with knowledge of ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Experience in setting up and managing monitoring and logging for production models to track performance and detect anomalies.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles, infrastructure automation, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools.
