The position is for a Mobile Application Engineer – React Native, responsible for maintaining cross-platform mobile apps for Android and iOS.
The role involves working on client-facing applications that are already live in app stores, enhancing features, performance, and reliability.
Responsibilities include enhancing and maintaining React Native applications, debugging platform-specific issues, developing new features, and writing clean, maintainable code in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Collaboration with backend developers, designers, and project managers is essential to meet client goals and provide support for ongoing enhancements.
The engineer will use monitoring tools to identify app issues and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while participating in code reviews.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of experience building production mobile applications with React Native.
Applicants should have published apps on both Google Play and the App Store.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with REST APIs and mobile UI frameworks is required.
A solid understanding of mobile development principles, app lifecycle, and platform-specific behavior is necessary.
Candidates must be comfortable supporting and enhancing apps in production environments and managing multiple concurrent projects.
Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset are essential.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and located within U.S. time zones.
Nice to have skills include familiarity with native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) codebases, exposure to backend (Node.js) or frontend (React.js) technologies, and experience with mobile CI/CD workflows.
