Description:

The Mobile Architect will lead the architectural design and strategy for mobile applications at G-P.
This role requires deep technical expertise in mobile app development and a curiosity for the AI domain.
The architect will design scalable, secure, and resilient architectures for both iOS and Android platforms, with a strong knowledge of React Native.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining high-performance mobile application architectures, defining the architectural vision and roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams, establishing best practices for quality and maintainability, providing technical mentorship, maintaining architectural documentation, and continuously improving team processes.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Extensive experience in architecting mobile applications with a solid understanding of the mobile application lifecycle for both iOS and Android platforms is necessary.
Expertise in React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with strong skills in designing robust and maintainable mobile applications is essential.
Solid experience in integrating mobile applications with backend services and third-party APIs, particularly with expertise in AWS (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda) is required.
Expertise in mobile testing frameworks and automated testing tools is necessary.
A strong understanding of modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment, is required.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges are essential.
Experience collaborating with UX/UI design teams to ensure technical feasibility and optimal user experience is necessary.
Experience with native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin) is required.
Experience with AI-driven applications or integrating AI functionalities into mobile applications is a nice-to-have qualification.
