ECP is seeking experienced engineers for a contract position as a Mobile Engineer to join their team and contribute to improving life in senior living communities globally.
The company offers a market-leading SaaS solution used in over 6,000 communities worldwide and aims to expand its customer base and product offerings.
The role involves leading the migration of existing Xamarin applications to the .NET MAUI framework and leveraging its new features and capabilities.
Responsibilities include refactoring and optimizing code for performance and maintainability, addressing compatibility issues, and ensuring a smooth transition to the new platform.
The Mobile Engineer will design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Windows App Store, iOS, and Android platforms using .NET MAUI for cross-platform applications with native performance.
The position requires preparing and submitting apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, handling submission requirements, and troubleshooting deployment issues.
The engineer will conduct thorough testing on various devices and operating system versions and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers.
The position is open to remote candidates within the U.S., although the headquarters is located in Wisconsin.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 4+ years of software development experience.
The ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems autonomously is essential.
Proficiency with full-stack front-end and back-end frameworks and languages is required.
Candidates should have 4+ years of experience with Xamarin or .NET MAUI.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience with SQL (MSSQL, PostgreSQL) is necessary.
A passion for writing great code that helps people is important.
Experience with common applicable design patterns and object-oriented development is required.
Candidates should have experience working in an agile development process.
Fluent English with strong grammatical skills is necessary.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
