Description:

  • The Product Engineering team collaborates closely with Product Management and Design to enhance web and mobile experiences for all audiences.
  • The role involves building a powerful healthcare navigation app that includes personalized provider matching, 24/7 Telemedicine+, expert opinions on diagnoses and treatment plans, and medical claims advocacy.
  • The Mobile Engineer will help build the mobile experience in a fast, accessible, and intuitive way.
  • Key responsibilities include the implementation and launch of mobile applications, partnering with Product and Design teams on application design, user experience, developer workflows, deployment strategies, and testing of native mobile applications.
  • In the first 30 days, the engineer will gain an understanding of the infrastructure, architecture, and deployment workflows, and become a member of an Agile team.
  • In the first 60 days, participation in Engineering Demo Days, peer code reviews, and delivering core features for mobile experiences will be expected.
  • In the first 90 days, the engineer will help troubleshoot problems, participate in hiring new mobile engineers, and contribute to the strategy for creating frictionless mobile experiences.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or relevant experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional mobile development experience is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Swift programming languages is essential.
  • Exceptional technical communication skills are required.
  • Experience in integrating and leveraging external services for user analytics, feature flagging, and authentication is needed.
  • A solid understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices and standards is required.
  • A thorough understanding of RESTful API and application design is necessary.
  • Experience with additional technologies such as GraphQL, JavaScript, React, ReactNative, and AWS is a bonus.
