Description:

We are seeking a skilled iOS Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis.
This position is remote and open to candidates based in Latin America only.
The iOS Engineer will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to build and maintain high-performance mobile applications.
Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining advanced applications for the iOS platform.
The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications is a key responsibility.
The role involves identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs.
The engineer will help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Integration with backend services and APIs to deliver seamless user experiences is required.
Participation in code reviews and architecture discussions is expected.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C is required.
A solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle is necessary.
Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDK integrations is essential.
A strong grasp of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines is needed.
Familiarity with version control tools like Git is required.
Experience with CI/CD and automated testing frameworks is a plus.
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) are mandatory.
Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working remotely with a distributed team.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of USD $40–$60/hour, depending on experience.
