Remote Mobile Software Architect

Description:

• The Software Architect position in Colombia involves spearheading the development of efficient, scalable, and top-notch mobile software solutions.
• The primary goal is to craft software architecture aligned with business requirements, ensuring seamless integration between components, resource optimization, and compliance with functional and non-functional prerequisites, along with team-defined standards and best practices.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading the development and deployment of high-quality software applications, providing technical guidance and mentorship, designing robust and secure software systems, staying updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting complex issues, gathering and analyzing requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and modernizing legacy mobile applications.
• The role also involves collaborating with technical teams to identify and resolve legacy code challenges.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in both Spanish and English (Advanced/Fluent) is required.
• Demonstrated experience of more than 3 years as a Software Architect or in a similar role is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with native mobile apps (iOS and Android) is a must.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are required.
• Capability to lead and thrive in a collaborative team environment is necessary.
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions is a requirement.
• Nice to have skills include familiarity with React and Javascript, experience with Cloud platforms, relevant certifications in technology, understanding of DevOps practices, and knowledge of microservices and micro frontend architecture.

• The annual salary range for this position is R$40,000 - R$80,000.
