Remote Mobile Software Engineer (Android)

• The role is for a Mobile Software Engineer (Android) reporting to the Engineering Manager in the Customer Booking or Customer Monetization teams.
• The purpose of the role is to help realize the product vision through code.
• Software engineers will work closely with product managers, designers, and team members to understand requirements, devise solutions, and create scalable software products.
• Responsibilities include feature implementation, maintaining product stability, and iterating based on user feedback to enhance the product continuously.

Requirements:

• Very good knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and the Android framework is essential.
• Understanding of the whole Feature Flag process is required.
• Ability to write Unit (JUnit) and automation (Espresso) tests without assistance is necessary.
• A good understanding of the CI/CD process and knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Bitrise, or Firebase Test Lab is needed.
• Experience in creating complex generic UI components using Jetpack Compose is required.
• A good understanding of MVVM and app architecture is necessary.
• Conversational level English language skills are required, as English is the company language used for business communications.
