Remote MongoDB Database Support Engineer

Description:

• The MongoDB Database Support Engineer position at Percona is designed for individuals passionate about MongoDB and customer success.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have excellent knowledge of both RDBMS and MongoDB, including configuration, schema design, performance tuning, query optimization, index tuning, backup solutions, replica set and sharding topologies, engine selection, and monitoring requirements.
• Demonstrable experience in administering Linux-based systems is required.
• Knowledge of virtualized environments such as VMWare, Docker, and/or Kubernetes is necessary.
• Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean, and/or Azure is essential.
• The ability to troubleshoot methodically and creatively is crucial for resolving complex issues.
• Candidates should be enthusiastic about expanding their skill set with new technologies.
• Availability to travel for occasional team meetings, conferences, and customer visits is required.
• Experience working with customers in English is necessary.
• Completion of MongoDB University courses is mandatory.
