Remote MongoDB Database Support Engineer (Remote) at Percona

Description:

Provide professional technical support services for MongoDB, assisting customers with complex problems and demanding deployments.
Play a critical role in the MongoDB support organization by collaborating with support engineers, creating support content, and contributing to product strategy.
Possess excellent knowledge of RDBMS and MongoDB, including configuration, schema design, performance tuning, backup solutions, replica set and sharding topologies, monitoring, and more.
Administer Linux-based systems and have knowledge of virtualized environments like VMWare, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Troubleshoot methodically, think innovatively to resolve complex issues, and stay updated with evolving technologies.
Travel occasionally for team meetings, conferences, and customer visits.
Completed MongoDB University courses.

Excellent knowledge of RDBMS and MongoDB, including configuration, schema design, performance tuning, backup solutions, replica set and sharding topologies, monitoring, and more.
Experience administering Linux-based systems.
Familiarity with virtualized environments like VMWare, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean, and Azure.
Ability to troubleshoot methodically and think innovatively to resolve complex issues.
Willingness to expand skill set with new technologies.
Availability for occasional travel.
Experience working with customers in English.
Completed MongoDB University courses.
