Remote MS SQL Developer

Description:

• Our client provides enterprise-class managed data center services with around 70 datacenters servicing 29 different markets.
• They are seeking a passionate SQL expert to join their high-achieving team as a Senior Developer.
• The primary focus of this role will be on MS SQL and Snowflake, crafting efficient queries, views, functions, and stored procedures.
• The team is building a robust cloud data warehouse with seamless data replication across platforms.
• Responsibilities include leading SQL development efforts, enforcing coding standards and best practices, and developing and maintaining efficient T-SQL code.
• The role involves analyzing and improving existing database structures to enhance performance and troubleshooting database access and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaboration with team members to optimize application SQL queries and designing database schemas aligned with application requirements is essential.
• The position also requires orchestrating data migrations across different systems and creating robust scripts for data manipulation, ETL processes, and reporting.
• Additionally, developing and implementing database security protocols and optimization strategies is part of the job.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 6+ years of professional SQL development experience.
• Deep expertise in T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server is required.
• Proficiency in Snowflake and dbt development is necessary.
• A working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript is expected.
• Experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) is required.
• Strong skills in query performance tuning and optimization are essential.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are a must.
• The ability to work both independently and in team settings is necessary.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases is required.
