Description:

The position is for a .Net Developer with Healthcare Insurance experience, located in Minneapolis, MN, and is a full-time, experienced role.
This is a 6-month contract to hire opportunity that is 100% remote.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging new and existing software systems and applications.
The role involves participating in the complete development lifecycle, including requirements analysis and design.
The developer will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
The position requires functional knowledge of all layers of computer software development.
The work will consist of 70-80% backend/database tasks and 20-30% frontend/pipelines/automation tasks.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development.
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, information technology, or a related computer degree is required; a master’s degree is a plus.
Solid software development experience in an Agile development environment and a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is necessary.
The candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to assist with complex project deliverables in a driven and changing organization.
Demonstrated ownership of assigned tasks and a dedication to completing the job are essential.
Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work under tight deadlines or changing needs are required.
Candidates must have confidence and the ability to work independently.
An exceptional client service orientation and attention to detail are important.
The candidate should be a collaborative team player with the ability to multi-task in a virtual and matrixed team-based environment.
Proficiency in .NET, C#, and Visual Studio Code is required.
Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is necessary.
Experience in architecture and application design relating to MVC, SOLID, or domain-driven design patterns is required.
Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS Cloud Services is necessary.
Experience with Web API and MSSQL/Azure SQL is required.
