Remote .NET Jr. Software Developer

Description:

• The .NET Jr. Software Developer position at Southern Careers Institute involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to maintain academic quality and integrity in program development, course creation, and educational delivery.
• Responsibilities include software development in a remote work environment, implementing API microservices, object services, and database repositories, participating in daily development team meetings, investigating software bugs, creating new C# algorithms within Visual Studio, and participating in software deployments during off-hours.
• The position aims to improve course delivery, report functionality, and student outcomes by partnering with a UI development team to enhance the platform.

Requirements:

• Must live in and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 2+ years of experience in C#, 1+ years in .NET 6+ or later (RESTful APIs, dependency injection, general algorithms), 1+ years in Entity Framework 6+ (including migrations), 2+ years in Microsoft Server (SQL language, stored procedures, database design), 2+ years using Visual Studio (2022), GitHub, and Git, and experience in Agile/scrum methodologies.
