Remote .NET Senior Software Developer

Description:

• As a .NET Senior Software Developer at Southern Careers Institute, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of educational delivery by collaborating with internal stakeholders to maintain academic quality and improve student outcomes.
• You will lead a UI development team to implement, test, and deploy platform enhancements, focusing on improving course delivery and report functionality.
• The position involves software development in a remote work environment, designing and implementing API microservices, object services, and database repositories.
• You will configure and maintain resources in Microsoft Azure, author architecture and design documentation, mentor other software developers, and participate in CI/CD using Jenkins.
• Strong investigative skills in managing a large software code base and participation in periodic software deployments during off-hours are also part of the role.

Requirements:

• Must live in and be legally authorized to work in the United States (excluding CA, CT, WA DC, MA, ND, NY, OH, OR, WA, WY).
• 7+ years of experience in C#, 5+ years in .NET 6+ or later (RESTful APIs, dependency injection, complex algorithms), Entity Framework 6+ (including migrations), and Microsoft Server (SQL language, stored procedures, database design).
• 1+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Services, 7+ years using Visual Studio (2022), GitHub, and Git, and Agile/scrum experience.
