Description:

The role is for a .NET/AWS Software Engineer, available through May 2025, due to accelerated growth and expanding needs with the customer.
The position involves contributing to the Mindex Integration Platform, a cloud-based service that integrates various back-office applications to streamline business operations.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, debugging, and maintaining complex systems utilizing .NET Core.
The engineer will develop and design microservices using event-driven architecture within AWS, specifically using tools like Event Bridge.
The role requires creating and maintaining RESTful Web Services and collaborating closely with the scrum master and product owner to understand requirements.
The engineer will work within a team of software engineers and testers, employing a scrum-based agile software development methodology.
Writing technical documentation of system changes in accordance with department standards is also a key responsibility.
The position requires maintaining awareness of technological developments in computer hardware and software systems.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related area is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Candidates must have at least three years of extensive software development experience in Microsoft .NET and C#, including experience building and consuming RESTful APIs for web services.
Proficiency in .NET Core and Web API is required.
Experience with Postman, XUnit, profilers, continuous integration, and Git is necessary.
Familiarity with DynamoDb is expected.
Candidates should have knowledge of AWS Technologies such as Lambda, SQS, and SNS.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is essential.
