Description:
Granicus is seeking a NetSuite Administrator to configure, maintain, and optimize the Granicus NetSuite Application.
The role involves administering the Granicus NetSuite platform and its included modules and related solutions such as Advanced Revenue Module (ARM), Fixed asset, Prepaids, Intercompany, Cash, Net Lease, Zone Advanced Billing software, Avalara/Avatax, and AvidXchange payment.
The administrator will engage with end users to understand business necessities and provide effective solutions to issues while maintaining the user list.
Responsibilities include providing technical assistance to end-users, conducting training sessions on user adoption, and serving as the primary point of contact for NetSuite Support.
The role requires planning, reviewing, and customizing NetSuite as needed to meet staff needs and developing custom application extensions using system API and third-party tools.
The administrator will assist with the NetSuite integration or go-live of acquired entities and partner with third-party consultants to design and deliver system improvements.
The position involves developing, documenting, and following formal policies, procedures, and protocols for changes, customization, standards, and usage.
The administrator will transpose reports to necessary outlets such as Google and Salesforce, support executive team requests, and maintain user roles and system access in collaboration with HR for onboarding/offboarding.
The role also includes supporting accounting tasks such as AP, AR, GL, and fixed assets within NetSuite and sourcing business requirements to translate into deliverable tasks across various business units.
The administrator will develop and maintain saved searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite, including customizations and data migration, and specialization in the NetSuite ERP program.
A NetSuite Administrator Certification is required.
Applicants should be fully efficient in custom record types, fields, forms, roles and permissions, page layouts, searches and reports, and the NetSuite data model.
Experience overseeing NetSuite integration, implementation, and testing is necessary.
Candidates must have the ability to support data import processes and migration while maintaining NetSuite updates.
The role requires creating configurations and customizations of NetSuite to meet business needs and providing ongoing systems and technical support for the NetSuite system.
Familiarity with the NetSuite dashboard and the ability to provide users with relevant reports and KPIs is essential.
Experience in companies working in multi-currency multi-subsidiary NetSuite environments is a plus.
Knowledge of Advanced Revenue Module (ARM), Zone Advanced Billing, Avalara/Avatax, Fixed asset, prepaid, and intercompany modules is advantageous.
A strong understanding of billing, payments, A/R, general ledger, revenue recognition, planning, audit, and reporting is required.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to liaise with different departments and multiple business disciplines are necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking are essential, along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
