Description:

• Cologix is seeking a NetSuite Software Engineer with extensive software design experience.
• The role involves collaborating with a fully remote North American team.
• Responsibilities include participating in major software customization and integration projects for internal corporate systems.
• The engineer will design and build enhancements to support business needs while ensuring system integrity, security, scale, and performance.
• The position requires guiding, supporting, and mentoring fellow software engineers to optimize their efficiency and promote best practices.
• Agile methodologies will be applied to facilitate continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.
• The engineer will assist in code reviews for junior engineers and participate in meetings to voice concerns and suggestions for improvement.
• The role includes working with management to implement team processes and tools and making significant team and company decisions.
• Researching and analyzing application behaviors to improve performance and stability is also a key responsibility.
• The engineer must ensure software lifecycle considerations are addressed through various planning and review sessions.
• Up-to-date documentation for code, customizations, processes, and procedures is required.
• The role will primarily focus on development, with some bug and break/fix support for major escalated events.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field is required.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a corporate setting is necessary.
• Candidates must have experience in software development, scripting, and project management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of developing SuiteScript (1.0, 2.x) and JavaScript is essential.
• A thorough understanding of RESTful APIs is required.
• Experience developing on common enterprise ERP & CRM platforms, including NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow, MuleSoft, or related systems is necessary.
• Experience in developing with Apex, Visualforce, MuleSoft, Java, or similar languages is preferred.
• A positive attitude and a solution-oriented mindset are essential.
• A proven track record of working collaboratively with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams is required.
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology is necessary.
• SuiteCloud Developer Certification is a plus.
