Remote Network Build Engineer- Engineer & Construction at Brightspeed

Description:

Analyze regional engineering job submissions ahead of inventory builds in various systems of records
Review End User Customer requirements, CLLI code usage, transport requirements, future network equipment augmentations, and circuit grooms/growth
Maintain positive interaction with internal company departments
Offer coaching and feedback based on system requirements to provide high-quality service to Brightspeed customers
Evaluate proposed builds into inventory compared to long-range Next Gen deployments and future network solutions
Partner with Vendors, BSPD Architects, and Planning teams to understand new topology configurations and network element dependencies
Participate in conversion activities to BSPD End State systems and provide support for rollout recommendations, UAT/ORT, and problem resolution
Conduct training sessions for regional teams on new architectural solutions
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for build request support
Assist Network Build Team Lead and directs with system anomalies or new build designs
Receive special assignments for analysis, review, and action from NB Project Managers to support BSPD’s future growth and network acceleration

Associate degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
8 years related experience in telecommunications, engineering, or network planning
Knowledgeable and skilled in planning and/or engineering
Proficient in appropriate systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to work with Planning, Operations, internal and external customers, maintain budget, and assist with forecasting budgets
Maintain positive interaction between all governing authorities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
