Remote Network Engineer (Remoto)

Description:

• The position is for a Network Engineer who will work remotely from Madrid, Spain.
• Candidates should have advanced knowledge and experience with Cisco Switching technologies, including STP, VSS, ACLs, and 802.1q.
• Proficiency in Cisco Routing technologies is required, specifically OSPF, with BGP, VRF, GRE, QoS, ACLs, Policy routing, and HSRP being valued.
• Troubleshooting skills using tools like Wireshark and TCPDUMP are necessary.
• Experience with AWS architecture, including VPC, Security Gateways, ACLs, Virtual Private Gateways, Internet Gateways, Peering VPC, and TGW is essential.
• Knowledge of security measures, including Fortinet Firewalls, 802.1x, Radius, IPSec tunnels, TACACS, and NAC is required.
• Candidates should have experience with Cisco WIFI, including administration and configuration of APs and WLCs, BYOD, and standards such as 802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ax.
• Skills in management and monitoring using SNMP and IPSLA are necessary.
• Proficiency in using Linux terminal commands, such as vi, is required.
• Knowledge of DNS and DHCP is essential.
• Familiarity with Mainframe communications (VTAM and TCPIP) is valued.

Requirements:

• Candidates must hold relevant certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP from Cisco.
• An AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification is highly valued.
• Advanced Networking Specialty (AWS) and NSE4 (Fortinet) certifications are also considered beneficial.
