Description:

Lambda is seeking a Network Engineer at Senior, Staff, and Principal levels to help scale their high-performance cloud network.
The role involves contributing to the reproducible automation of network configuration and the design and development of software-defined networks.
Responsibilities include managing Spine and Leaf networks, ensuring high availability through monitoring, failover, and redundancy, and providing predictable networking performance for VMs and clients using QoS and other technologies.
The position also requires deploying and maintaining network monitoring and management tools.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in building and managing complex networks.
Experience leading the implementation of production-scale networking projects is required.
Familiarity with Spine and Leaf (Clos) network topology and multi-data center networks, as well as hybrid cloud networks, is essential.
Candidates should have experience in building and maintaining Software Defined Networks (SDN) and designing, building, and operating BGP EVPN VXLAN networks.
Proficiency with the Linux command line and an understanding of the Linux networking stack is necessary.
Python programming experience is also required.
