Description:
The Network Engineer (Connectivity Architect) will design, manage, and optimize network systems to ensure reliable connectivity across the organization.
This role involves collaborating with IT teams, providing technical expertise in networking, and developing scalable and secure solutions.
Key responsibilities include planning and implementing network systems such as LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN setups.
The engineer will monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for optimal speed and stability.
Security protocols such as firewalls and VPN configurations will be deployed and managed to protect the network from external threats.
The role includes supporting network expansion and upgrades, evaluating emerging technologies, and documenting network configurations and changes.
Advanced technical support for complex network issues will be provided, working closely with IT teams and end-users.
The engineer will stay updated with the latest network technologies and integrate new tools to enhance network operations.
Requirements:
Candidates must have in-depth experience with network architecture, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network setups.
Proficiency in firewall configuration, intrusion prevention, and VPN management is required for implementing robust security measures.
Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and familiarity with tools such as Cisco Meraki, SolarWinds, or Wireshark is essential.
Advanced troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex network issues are necessary, along with strong organizational skills for documentation.
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Network Engineering, or equivalent experience in network engineering is required.
Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, or Juniper Networks Certified are highly advantageous.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in network engineering or IT infrastructure, with a proven track record in designing and optimizing network systems.
Experience with network operating systems (e.g., Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos) and network virtualization (e.g., SD-WAN) is beneficial, along with familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure).
