Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network segmentation, firewall configuration, endpoint security, and zero trust frameworks.
This role involves working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure secure environments across production, development, and QA systems.
Key responsibilities include configuring and managing firewalls, primarily Palo Alto, and implementing security measures for both Windows and Linux environments.
The candidate will apply zero trust principles and tools to enhance security measures and will be proficient in using IP Tables and IP Chains for Linux-based security configurations.
The role requires designing and implementing network segmentation strategies to isolate vulnerabilities and minimize security risks.
The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security risks and implement tailored mitigation strategies.
Incident response duties include working with the incident response team to isolate affected systems and mitigate threats effectively.
Clear communication of security concepts to both internal teams and external stakeholders is essential.
The candidate should stay up to date with emerging security technologies, industry trends, and best practices to improve network segmentation and isolation strategies.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or vulnerability management.
Hands-on experience with network segmentation, firewall configurations, and isolation techniques is necessary.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards is essential.
Excellent communication skills in English are required, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams across different countries.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive approach to security challenges are important.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar are highly preferred.
Preferred skills include experience with Zero Trust security models and tools, knowledge of IP Tables/IP Chains for Linux security configurations, and previous experience in securing multi-environment infrastructures (Production, Dev, QA).
Strong analytical skills and the ability to create innovative security solutions are also preferred.
