Remote Network Security Engineer (Palo Alto)- Evening Shift

Description:

• The Network Security Engineer is expected to provide a high level of technical support to external customers in a project-oriented fashion.
• This role involves working closely with Technical Specialists and IT Managers to design and implement new network solutions or improve the efficiency of current networks.
• The engineer will own complex customer issues that may take several weeks or months to resolve and will keep customers updated throughout the process.
• The role requires advising customers on potential pitfalls and suggesting alternative solutions to enhance the stability and security of their network solutions.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have expertise in Palo Alto technologies.
• Experience in Cloud Network security is essential.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, load balancers, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and web application firewalls (WAF) is required.
• Candidates should have a minimum of 7 to 14 years of experience in the field.
• Responsibilities include securing, administering, and improving customer networks, including firewalls, switches, load balancers, IDS, and WAF.
• Knowledge in DNS Management is necessary.
• Candidates must be able to perform incident management identification and assist in managing and escalation.
• Adherence to customer and SLA commitments is required.
• Providing a Fanatical Experience to customers in all aspects of the role is expected.
• Sound knowledge in Cloud Native technologies, Cloud Native Firewalls, networking and infrastructure, and network components of cloud architecture is essential.
• Good experience in Palo Alto, cloud-native firewalls, cloud networking, and cloud architecture is required.
• Familiarity with networking technologies such as routing and VPN setup is necessary.
• Candidates should be comfortable working with the customer’s networking team.
