The Network Solutions Engineer will help customers solve network engineering problems and grow Lightyear’s revenue.
Responsibilities include reviewing technical aspects of customer network service orders, assisting in designing telecom solutions, and ensuring an optimal network procurement and implementation experience.
The position offers a highly-competitive compensation package, estimated between $110-125k plus equity.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of technical or engineering experience in telecom, networking, voice, data center, or adjacent technical solutions.
Proficiency in network architecture and design, fiber optics, wireless technologies, optical wavelengths, SD-WAN, and other telecom solutions is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues are essential.
A deep understanding of carrier network operations and processes, with hands-on experience in configuration, testing, turn-up, and deployment, is necessary.
Excellent communication skills are required to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Industry-relevant certifications are considered a bonus.
