The Sales Intern role is designed for someone interested in growing their career in sales, ideally with a competitive spirit similar to that of a college athlete.
The intern will engage customer leads through conversations that build brand and drive purchases.
Responsibilities include working closely with the leadership team to adopt merchants' brand voices and understand their products and operations.
The intern will become a subject matter expert for assigned merchants and identify gaps in internal processes to help implement improvements.
Maintaining internal documentation alongside teammates is essential to ensure that shared information is up to date and accurate.
Collaboration with the product team to address improvement opportunities within the platform is also a key part of the role.
The position requires the ability to work weekends.

Requirements:

Candidates must have an interest in sales or experience in retail sales, which is critical for the role.
A flexible work schedule is required, including the ability to work one weekend day.
The intern must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective engagement with customers and team members.
The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, coachable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a pay range of $30 to $50 an hour.
