QuickTeam is a company that provides businesses with virtual employees to help them grow and become more productive.
We are looking for a creative and innovative NLP Engineer who thinks outside the box to develop a lightweight, CoreML-compatible LLM for classifying URLs and HTML content.
The ideal candidate should be up to date on the latest advancements in machine learning and natural language processing and have experience building and working with LLMs.
This role is part-time, with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance and project needs.
Key responsibilities include developing and fine-tuning a lightweight LLM optimized for on-device classification of webpages, ensuring compatibility with CoreML for efficient integration into iOS/macOS environments, working on React-based interfaces to visualize and interact with the model, implementing efficient NLP pipelines for classifying URLs and HTML content, staying updated on advancements in ML and NLP to improve model performance, optimizing models for low-latency inference on mobile and embedded systems, and collaborating with developers to integrate the NLP model into broader filtering solutions.

Requirements:

Experience with React and front-end development is required.
A strong background in NLP and machine learning, particularly in LLM optimization, is necessary.
Familiarity with CoreML and Apple’s ML frameworks is essential.
The ability to think creatively and solve complex technical challenges is important.
Experience working with on-device AI models and lightweight inference is required.
Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks is necessary.
Strong problem-solving and research skills are essential.
Preferred qualifications include experience in web filtering, content classification, or AI-powered parental controls, a background in privacy-focused AI solutions, and prior work in optimizing NLP models for mobile and edge devices.

While this is a part-time role to start, there is strong potential for full-time growth based on performance.
