Remote NodeJS Backend Developer

Description:

• The NodeJS Backend Developer will be responsible for working on a real-time, 24/7 multi-vendor marketplace product with high availability and no latency.
• Collaborate with product management, development leads, and peers to ship features and improvements.
• Craft code meeting internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment.
• Translate end-user requirements into technical specifications.
• Improve the quality of full-stack features and platform benefits.
• Work in an agile environment to track product delivery timeline and quality.
• Utilize cutting-edge technologies in a highly scalable AWS cloud environment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise web apps and user-facing features using JavaScript and NodeJS.
• Proficiency in building/designing APIs with NodeJS.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, functional programming principles, and debugging scalable web applications with ReactJS and NodeJS.
• Knowledge and experience with event sourcing patterns and CQRS pattern.
• Hands-on experience in building cloud-ready apps deployed to AWS.
• Ability to apply software design patterns to complex business problems and understanding of data structure and algorithm fundamentals.
• Experience in scalable RESTful services using Node.js, Express, and ES6+ JavaScript.
• Familiarity with backend best practices and performance optimization.
• English B2 proficiency or above.
