We are looking for a Backend Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our team.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in Node.js, TypeScript, API development, and cloud technologies.
A strong background in backend architecture and system design is required.
Experience with video streaming protocols such as HLS, FFMpeg, and DASH is a plus.
Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
The candidate will design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations.
The role involves working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to deploy and manage scalable backend services.
Ensuring system reliability, security, and performance through best practices and monitoring is essential.
Collaboration with frontend developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions is expected.
The candidate will implement and manage database interactions with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Working with video streaming technologies, encoding/transcoding, and protocols like HLS, DASH, and FFMpeg is a nice-to-have.

Requirements:

The candidate must have technical skills in Node.js and TypeScript.
Proficiency in API Development (RESTful, GraphQL) is required.
Experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) is necessary.
Knowledge of Database Management (SQL, NoSQL) is essential.
Familiarity with Authentication & Security (OAuth, JWT, API security) is required.
The candidate should have skills in Testing & Debugging (unit testing, integration testing).
Experience with CI/CD & DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD pipelines) is necessary.
The candidate should have knowledge of Performance Optimization (API performance, caching, load balancing).
Soft skills required include a problem-solving mindset, communication skills, being a team player, adaptability, learning agility, attention to detail, ownership, accountability, and time management.
