Remote Node.js Developer

Description:

• The Node.js Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services using Node.js.
• They will collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• The developer will design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Implementing security and data protection measures will be a key part of the role.
• Integration of data storage solutions such as databases, key-value stores, and blob stores will be required.
• Participation in code reviews and mentoring junior developers is expected.
• Troubleshooting and debugging applications to ensure code quality and maintainability are essential responsibilities.

Requirements:

• A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is mandatory.
• Extensive professional experience in software development, specifically in backend development with Node.js is required.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and at least one additional programming language like Typescript is necessary.
• Strong understanding of web-based project development is a must.
• Sharp analytical abilities, strong system design skills, and solid fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis, and data structures are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
• Experience in mentoring/coaching others and conducting code reviews is a mandatory requirement.
