Description:
The Node.js Developer will join Nabu Casa's Cloud & Infrastructure team to primarily work on Home Assistant Cloud services.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable, high-performance, and reliable Node.js applications.
The developer will review teammates' code, collaborate with Support and Home Assistant Core teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of cloud services, implementing security and data protection measures, and staying up-to-date with industry trends are key tasks.
Basic knowledge of system administration, experience with cloud services (preferably AWS), Git & Github, and personal experience using Home Assistant are required.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills are essential.
Requirements:
At least five years of professional experience in back-end development.
At least two years of professional experience in Node.js/Typescript.
Basic knowledge of system administration.
