Description:

  • The Node.js Developer will join Nabu Casa's Cloud & Infrastructure team to primarily work on Home Assistant Cloud services.
  • Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable, high-performance, and reliable Node.js applications.
  • The developer will review teammates' code, collaborate with Support and Home Assistant Core teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of cloud services, implementing security and data protection measures, and staying up-to-date with industry trends are key tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of system administration, experience with cloud services (preferably AWS), Git & Github, and personal experience using Home Assistant are required.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills are essential.

Requirements:

  • At least five years of professional experience in back-end development.
  • At least two years of professional experience in Node.js/Typescript.
  • Basic knowledge of system administration.
  • Experience with cloud services (preferably AWS).
  • Experience with Git & Github.
  • Personal experience using Home Assistant.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
