Remote Node.js Developer

Description:

• We are recruiting a Node.js Developer to join our Web team and create advanced web applications.
• The position is backend-oriented, allowing for influence over the technical approach due to the project's early stage.
• You will work with enterprise-grade clients and have the autonomy to grow as a professional in a culturally diversified environment.
• Your responsibilities include implementing and supporting architecture design of web applications using Node.js and derivative technologies.
• You will support other engineers with your expertise and ensure that programming practices and code quality are respected.
• Collaboration with a dispersed development team, clients, and project managers will be conducted using agile methodologies.

Requirements:

• Strong familiarity with the Node.js environment is required.
• Knowledge and experience with TypeScript, NestJS (or similar frameworks like ExpressJS), and TypeORM are necessary.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly MS SQL Server, is ideal; good knowledge of PostgreSQL is also beneficial.
• You should have experience in writing unit and integration tests using Jest and Supertest.
• Familiarity with using Docker/Docker Compose for running development environments is required.
• Very good English skills are essential, as communication is conducted in that language daily.
• An eagerness to learn and a focus on self-improvement are important traits.
• Being a team player who is focused on getting things done is essential.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with React and frontend development is also a plus but not required.

• The salary is dependent on your skills and experience, with a maximum of 18,500 PLN net B2B + VAT on a full-time freelancer contract.
