Remote Node.js Software Engineer

Description:

• Join the NextUp team at Appfire focusing on building collaborative apps for software development and support teams.
• Work in a self-organizing, cross-functional product team with Software Engineers, Product Manager, Team Leader, and other specialists.
• Develop efficient and scalable applications using Node.js.

Requirements:

• Must have a proven record (3+ years) of delivering multiple complex software development projects.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and frameworks like Express.
• Willingness to learn and work with multiple technologies.
• Strong engineering approach to problem-solving with a good understanding of computer science fundamentals.
• Solid architectural understanding of web applications, including performance, quality, and security aspects.
• Experience with modern Cloud architectures, preferably in AWS or GCP.
• Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
• Proficiency in English at level B2 or higher.
• Nice to have experience with Java and its frameworks.
• Advantageous to have experience in defining test cases and writing automation.
