Description:

  • The position is for a Level 4 MS System Administrator specializing in migrations, specifically from Microsoft Office to Google Workspace tools.
  • This is a remote contract role based in the United States, with a salary of up to $90/hr depending on experience and geographic location.
  • The role involves designing, planning, and implementing migration solutions for clients, particularly focusing on transitioning from MS Office tools (excluding Outlook) to Google Sheets and other tools like Tableau.
  • Responsibilities include engaging with end-users to understand their needs, conducting gap analyses between MS Excel and Google Sheets, developing migration strategies, collaborating with migration teams, providing user training, and suggesting process improvements.
  • The ideal candidate should have a collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a focus on achieving results that promote business success.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • Candidates must have previous large-scale migration experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of expert technical knowledge and experience with MS Excel and Google Sheets is necessary, including familiarity with advanced functions, macros, and data manipulation.
  • Proven experience with migrating from Microsoft Office tools to Google Workspace is essential, along with an understanding of common challenges and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills are required to conduct gap analyses comparing MS Office functionality with Google Workspace or other tools.
  • Candidates must possess strong technical consultation skills to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving expertise is necessary to identify and resolve issues during the migration process.
  • Professional fluency in English is required.
  • Having a Microsoft Office 365 Admin Certification is a nice-to-have qualification.
