Description:

  • The Offensive Security Engineer at Trace3 will conduct offensive security campaigns for clients to enhance their ability to defend against known adversaries.
  • This role involves identifying vulnerabilities and weaknesses in client systems through ethical hacking and penetration testing.
  • The Engineer will collaborate with team members to execute and report on ethical hacking exercises, focusing on application and OS security assessments.
  • Responsibilities include performing client penetration testing, conducting network scans for vulnerabilities, generating detailed reports for clients, and developing tools to automate internal processes.
  • The Engineer will also provide recommendations to clients on security measures, monitor sensitive data, and contribute to Trace3's presence in the Security community.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, eCPPT, eWPT, PNPT, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux/Mac/Windows operating systems.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Red Team penetration test tools, network penetration testing, mobile/web application assessments, scripting, exploit development, and cloud providers.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless, web application, and network security testing tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to present security sessions and workshops to C-Level Executives and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
