Description:
Grafana Labs is creating an Onboarding Solutions Architect team to enhance customer value realization.
The Onboarding Solutions Architect will be responsible for ensuring customers are fully activated and receive value within 90 days of purchase.
This role involves providing onboarding-focused training, direct implementation assistance, and business and technical consultation.
Onboarding Solutions Architects will execute launch service packages for new customers, implementing Grafana Alloy, key data sources, dashboards, and other tools.
They will optimize customer consumption and help maintain low costs from the start.
The role includes co-creating a customer center of excellence through training and sharing best practices.
Onboarding Solutions Architects will provide prescriptive technical guidance to customers lagging in implementation.
They will leverage training content, data, and insights to engage with customers during their critical onboarding phase.
The position requires hands-on technical expertise, customer engagement, project management, and technical delivery skills.
Successful candidates will be scrappy, technical, self-driven, and excited to transform customer experiences.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience working on deployment teams and using project management techniques.
Direct experience with observability (o11y) is required.
Experience as an Onboarding Solutions Architect is preferred.
Knowledge of best practices for using and deploying an o11y stack, preferably with Grafana products, is necessary.
A proven track record of successful delivery of customer projects, especially enterprise o11y implementations, is essential.
Candidates should be self-starters, adept at learning new skills and technologies.
Excellent communication skills are required for interaction with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Candidates should possess executive presence and familiarity with *nix and Windows Server Administration.
Experience with Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm, Tanka preferred) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is necessary.
Systems architecture design and software engineering experience, or the ability to read code (GoLang/JS/TypeScript), is required.
Benefits:
The OTE compensation range for this role is $132,000 - $159,000, with actual compensation varying based on experience and skillset.
