Octopus by RTG is looking for Software Engineers with .NET and MVC experience to join their team.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Optimizely CMS and Commerce.
Responsibilities include implementing and optimizing features using .NET (C#), ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core.
The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including designers, marketers, and other developers.
Developers will be tasked with developing and integrating APIs and third-party services.
Ensuring applications are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance is a key responsibility.
The role includes troubleshooting and resolving software defects and technical issues.
Maintaining and improving existing codebases by following best practices and coding standards is expected.
Participation in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers is part of the job.
Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Optimizely and .NET development is essential.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET, C#, and MVC frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Optimizely CMS (Episerver CMS & Commerce) development and customization is required.
A strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, and Entity Framework is necessary.
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React/Angular is a plus) is expected.
Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud services is required.
Candidates should have experience working with SQL Server and database optimization techniques.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential for this position.
