Description:

The position is for an Oracle Apex and PL/SQL Developer to join the ALC India team.
The role involves analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining Oracle APEX applications.
Responsibilities include developing, tuning, executing, and managing Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and database triggers.
The developer will support data architecture with some data integration, including API and EDI.
The role requires quickly learning existing functionality and providing quick solutions to production issues.
Monitoring database performance, tuning SQL queries, and identifying and resolving scalability issues are also key responsibilities.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2-3 years of strong development experience in Oracle Apex is required.
A minimum of 2-3 years of strong programming experience in Oracle PL/SQL is necessary.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
A strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts is essential.
Candidates should have strong knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Proficiency in PL/SQL, a procedural programming language used in Oracle databases, is required.
Experience with Oracle APEX, a low-code development platform for building web applications, is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in managing web page layouts with APEX templates and Universal Themes.
Experience in relational data modeling is required.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills are essential for this role.
